English Language Services

The English Language Learning (ELL) support offered at Arrupe is a voluntary but highly recommended program for multilingual learners at absolutely any stage in the language learning process. The goal is to help English language learners improve their conversational and/or academic English skills through individualized lessons based on their needs. The support is highly personalized and tailored in its approach. Students can expect formative and detailed feedback along with guidance on how to utilize their home language skills in their academic study strategies along with other benefits of bilingualism/multilingualism. English Language Services are provided by an internationally experienced EFL/ESL specialist and can include conversations about the intersections of language and culture or identity where students can share experiences, feelings, and thoughts about being a multilingual college student in the United States.
